No Change in Sixth at Democratic Senatorial Convention

The sixth Democratic senatorial convention last night produced no choice as 34 more ballots were cast, totaling 19 for Clancy from Ward 13, 19 for Sullivan from Ward 14, and 15 for Kells from Ward 15. The meeting convened at the old courthouse on Dorchester Street with a half hour intermission before further balloting.

Political Nominations Held in Somerville District Seven

In Somerville the Republican and Democratic parties held nominations for the seventh Middlesex District. Tarbox seeks an independent bid on nomination papers after missing the Ward 2 Republican caucus. Ward 3 candidate Luce disputed an accord with Tarbox.
