It became known last night that William A. Ames of North Easton, cousin of Mrs. Louis A. Frothingham, will marry Miss Fanny Holt of Arlington this afternoon. The ceremony will be at the Holt aunt’s Milford home. Ames is 56 and wealthy. Holt is much younger.
Clement B Studebaker III, 22, heir to the Studebaker fortunes, lies in Copp Hospital Cambridge with a fractured skull and internal injuries after a racing car collision at Riverstreet Arlington and Mystic Valley Parkway yesterday afternoon. He is in critical condition and may die.
Tie en route to Boston from Winchester collided with Victor St Denis of West Medford at a parkway crossing. St Denis was uninjured while the Studebaker rolled three times and was removed to hospital. The driver and his parents, traveling from Rye Beach to South Bend, were later notified.
Fred Fitzgerald of 42 Mott Street Fall River died fifteen minutes after being taken to Relief Hospital from injuries suffered when struck by an automobile driven by Harry Eisner of Jamaica Plain at 11 o'clock near Sudbury and Court streets. Eisner was arrested on a manslaughter charge by Joy Street Station Patrolman Schultz.
