London October 9 United News British shippers pledge to battle Attorney General Daugherty’s liquor ruling to the last battle. Seven of the White Star Line ships will sail to the United States during the week loaded with liquor to test the ruling.
Cunard Line officials said shippers deny the US federal ban on liquor imports within the three mile limit. They vow a showdown on the principle that the United States government cannot dictate to British liners. Aquitania continued on page three.
