Five Hurt In South Boston Car Crash

Five people were injured and many shaken up when electric cars collided at the Dorchester street and Broadway intersection in South Boston shortly after 7 pm. Motorman McGuinness failed brakes as the inbound North station car struck the outbound Everett-Broadway car, sparking a glass shower and crowd panic.

Somerville Yields Yeggs to Maine Officers

Harry Jackson Thomas G. Hayes and Charles F Wentworth known as Somerville yeggmen had the cases not pressed in the Somerville Police Court yesterday. They were turned over to Deputy Sheriff Rankin of Alfred Maine to stand trial for breaking and entering the country store of George W Carll of East Waterboro on Sept 30. They waived extradition papers and accompanied Officer Mattocks of the Boston and Maine railroad who assisted in the arrest.

Garland wills 5 million to Harvard aid fund

The Garland will allocates a trust fund not less than 5 million dollars for Harvard University aid to needy and deserving students.
