Bullet-Pierced Death of Saxton Near Althouse Home
George Saxton, brother of Mrs. McKinley, was shot five times around 6:10 pm outside Eva B. Althouse’s residence in Canton Ohio. Mrs. Anna C. George, divorced wife of Sample C. George, is jailed on suspicion. Saxton died at once. autopsy pending before burial at M. C. Barber’s home. Details note suspect passage near the house and Saxton’s bicycle departure.

Death of Hon Sherman Hoar from typhoid malaria in army camps
Concord reports the death of Hon Sherman Hoar at age noted, due to exhaustion from a long siege of typhoid malaria contracted in army camps. He died peacefully at the Hoar homestead after a battle that began with pneumonia and typhoid fever, surrounded by his wife Miss Mary Buttrick and physicians. Funeral is listed for Monday at 3 PM from the Unitarian Church in Concord.
