Damage to stock and building about 1500 dollars. Later an alarm from Box 73 reported a fire in a five story brick building at 1391 and 1393 Washington Street. The blaze was on the first floor in Wadham's store and Clancy's gas fitting shop origin unclear from old papers. Damage about 75 dollars.
