On Squantum street the neglected Dr. Duggan homestead owned by N. G. Nickerson burned this afternoon. Occupied by R Augustus Duggan and William Duggan, the fire drew water from a distant brook and failed to save the structure valued at 700 dollars uninsured. Contents damage estimated at 200 dollars. Fire likely started from an upper room fireplace. Inspector Cogan later found stolen goods linked to Charles Parker alias Charles Duggan at the site.

Two Fishermen Rescued After Open Boat Sinks Near Winthrop
