At the South End grounds yesterday the Bostons beat the Kansas Citys in a dull contest. Radbourn pitched well and received strong support as King struggled with control. Nash made a running fly catch and a double play to highlight the day, while Morrill and Rowe contributed with key defensive plays.
In Lynn, the Lynns defeated the Brocktons 9 to 8 in the first game after a 12 to 2 loss for Brockton in the second.
