Miss Puffer believed Hazzard to be Charles McKee, claiming the gods decreed they marry. The court ordered Hazzard to return funds and recover money given by others. Counsel William H. Lewis received 3600 from the $2000 paid, a bondsman was paid 450, and Honey’s brother got 50. The judge suggested defendants knew Hazzard’s finances and the money likely did not belong to him.
