President will not be a formal delegate but will sit at the peace table as head of the U S government. Lansing Colonel House Henry White and General Bliss finalize the delegation to the conference.
Premier Lloyd George pledged in Newcastle that Germany pay indemnities to the limit of capacity and that those responsible for the war, along with crimes against humanity and international law, be punished.
Washington reports the peace conference delegation includes President Wilson, Secretary Lansing, Henry White, Colonel E M House, and General Tasker H Bliss as the army representative with the Supreme War Council at Versailles. The announcement surprised many officials in Washington.

Mystery surrounds the disappearance of a young woman traveling from New York to Fall River aboard the Fall River liner Priscilla last Sunday night. Her family placed ads in local newspapers with answered inquiries boxes but kept their identity concealed.
A young woman disappeared after boarding a steamer to Newport. She handed a letter to another passenger before departure. After arrival at Fall River the state room was searched. tickets and clothing bearing the name H. Holden were found as police and officials investigated the incident.
