Wise Horse Saves Two in Chelsea Accident
Mr and Mrs Thomas Evans both deaf mutes aged 70 and 72 escaped serious injury in Chelsea when a horse and buggy driven by Mrs Lewando Baldwin pinned them to the street after slipping on wet vitrified brick. Patrolman Bradley freed them with the horse remaining still. Both were treated for minor injuries and returned home. No blame attached to Mrs Baldwin.
