In fifteen minutes with Ivory Soap and water a paste can be made to remove spots from clothing and cleanse carpets rugs kid gloves slippers leather and woodwork. The recipe calls for one pint water and one and a half ounces of shaved Ivory Soap boiled five minutes then cooled.
Funeral held for abolitionist Rev Samuel May in Leicester
Worcester, Nov 26 The funeral of the Rev Samuel May was held in Leicester at 2 pm. The Boston native, a famed abolitionist and Harvard 1829 graduate, died near 90. His survivors include two sons J Russell May and Howard May and daughters Adeline and Beth May. He will be buried in Forest Hills Cemetery Boston tomorrow.

Fatal shooting near Washington Maine ends in tragedy
In Waldo County six men reported a fatal shooting incident after George W. Mears and his schoolmate Ben Lincoln went into the woods for a day of hunting.
