Vaccination Day Draws Nearly a Thousand to Pelham Post Station
Nearly 1000 men women and children were vaccinated yesterday from 8 a m to 8 p m at the Post s Free Vaccination Station in the Pelham building 74 Boylston street. Dr Richard R Pettigrew led with Dr Frank Barwell and another Pelham building physician assisting. Three office assistants handled visitors as the day wore on. By 5 pm the line persisted and Pettigrew ordered no more newcomers be seen. Some 50 applicants were asked to return later as the staff offered careful up to date treatment with due attention. The Post Vaccination Station will be continued today.
