Policemen Grant and Devins were committed tonight to await trial on highway robbery and attempted shooting charges. They were drunk on duty last night and attacked a man, robbery of a small sum, and fired several shots as he tried to escape. Two other officers who failed to arrest them were suspended by the mayor.
