Fatrolman Rescues Man From Mud At Mystic River
Fatrolman Michael J. Lynch of Charlestown saved an unidentified man from drowning in the Mystic River near Sullivan Square playground Saturday night. He heard a cry at the seawall and found the man 15 feet below as the incoming tide flowed toward the end of the wall. Lynch procured a boat and reached the Place, bringing the stranger ashore just as four men claimed him as a boarder from Robbins Street, Everett, and were allowed to take him home.
