Two Drop in Smoke at Blazh Fire injures man
Lieutenant Rousse of Engine 33 Alfred B York aged 65 of Stoneham was overcome in a five story brick building at 265 Atlantic Avenue last night. York was taken to Relief Hospital for heart ailment as Rousse and crew fought a basement fire that spread to the first floor damaging the Williams Town Glass Sales Company. A loss of about 3000 was reported. Patrolman Gleason alerted by a loud report saw the blaze. Firemen worked in relays to contain the fire to the basement and York and Rousse recovered after being carried to the street.
