Old Schoolboys Boston Banquet Honors Public Schools
The ninth reunion banquet of the Old Schoolboys’ Association of Boston was held at Young’s Hotel with about 175 members attending. President Edward H. Dunn led the program, speakers lauded public schools, including Mayor O’Brien and Rev. Hamilton, and a commemorative song was performed. The gathering closed with speeches, prayers, and a note on the association’s 1888-88 officers and yearly necrology.
