Daly in congenial role in The Master stage review
The Master features Arthur Wessley a rogue surgeon with unlicensed cures, aided by a frail typist Florence Oakley and a Japanese doctor played by Edward Abeles. The drama probes social ethics, with Daly’s intense portrayal and brisk, blunt dialogue. The piece calls it a homily rather than a drama.
