Carrie Nation disrupts New York Horse Show scene

Mrs. Carrie Nation stormed the New York Horse Show haranguing spectators about overdress and alcohol. She targeted the Vanderbilt box, clashed with Alfred G. Vanderbilt, and seized a champagne bottle before the caterer and police ejected her. Crowd in the lobby sang “Good Morning, Carrie” as she left.
