Lloyd repeats charges before industrial commission

Henry D. Lloyd, author of Wealth Against Commonwealth, testifies that John D. Archbold of Standard Oil defamed him as biased and unreliable. Widow Mrs L W Mickerson Dies After Brief Illness

Mrs Love West Nickerson aged 1 died of heart failure at her son in law’s home 16 Appleton Street Malden after a brief illness. She descended from Rev John Robinson of Leyden and was linked to Camp Meeting John on her mother’s side. Her first husband Captain Leander West whaling master of Martha’s Vineyard. Later she married Captain Joseph Nickerson and ran the Mansion House and Grove Hill House Vineyard Haven. Sisters Mary Martha and Rebecca died aged 82 and 85. One daughter Grace West wife of Captain A W Cooke survives.

Missing Henry Lippitt Seen Offshore From Highland Light

A schooner sighted far offshore this morning is believed to be the missing four masted Henry Lippitt sailing from Norfolk to Boston with a coal cargo. The vessel did not appear badly damaged according to initial reports.
