New York resident C. C. Lantz provided his photographs to Sigler Bros. to be used on circulars identifying a Cleveland diamond thief. Three men robbed Sigler Bros. at 364 Euclid Ave. One man seized a box valued at 45000 dollars. Clerk George Tippling recalled the thief resembled Lantz, prompting a request for Lantz to aid in identification. Lantz agreed to risk arrest to help recover the diamonds.

The British admiralty has chartered the Dominion line steamer Canada for troopship work. A 9000 ton Belfast built vessel, she has 515 foot length and 58 foot beam with 33 furnaces and 1150 tons of engine weight. Canada sailed from Boston November 8 and may be replaced by the Vancouver in Montreal service.
