Stoves Cracked In Attleboro Small Claims Suit

In Attleboro on November 15 Roland Stebbins, a society man and high school teacher, won a small claims suit for 3.75 against Abraham Savall, a second hand junk dealer. Judge Hagerty personally viewed a crack in a stove using a jackknife and searchlight, with Deputy Nerney present, confirming the crack. Savall must pay costs totaling 11.12 plus 10 additional for the judge’s investigation.
