Boston hosts Marshal Foch in a multi venue visit with greetings at the South Station and City Hall, a parade by 15 000 troops, ceremonies at Harvard and Radcliffe, a Washington Elm gift, and a Boston University honorary degree as part of a long city welcome organized by the American Legion and state leaders.

Route of Parade in Honor of Marshal Foch

The parade starts at 2 PM at the Massachusetts and Commonwealth avenues corner, proceeding south on Commonwealth to Arlington, Boylston, Tremont, Temple Place, Washington, School, Beacon, and Charles streets. Marshal Foch will ride past about 2 45 PM after the head reaches the State House.

South End Veterans to Report for Marshal Foch Parade

War veterans in the South End district must report in uniform by 12 30 a m at the South End Post American Legion Washington and Dover streets to take part in the parade honoring Marshal Foch. Lieutenant Joseph Heffernan will lead the district veterans.
