Boston witnessed a grand parade by the Men's Bible Class Clubs as 5000 men carried a Bible on a blue velvet cushion and led a street demonstration in the Protestant youth movement. Thousands of women lined the route joining in choruses, with "Onward, Christian Soldiers" the favorite hymn as the column moved from Berkeley Street to Columbus Avenue.
The parade led by Chief Marshal Albert Carr drew large crowds in Boston with about nine hundred more men than last year. Delegations from Somerville and the Page Class of Dudley Street Baptist Church impressed spectators while open Bible displays from Somerville’s Berean Class drew praise. The march began at Exeter Street, moved along Boylston and Berkeley to Columbus Avenue, then dispersed into Tremont Temple and other halls.

West Virginia captain Munk died from a brain blood clot after being struck by McCoy in a Bethany College game. McCoy, from Canton Ohio, faces a charge of causing death. Umpire Young testified the blow was deliberate as Munk ran downfield near the scrimmage line. The coroner's autopsy confirmed the fatal cause and Munk’s body was returned to Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
In Worcester a mate, Harry Stevens of the Worcester and Blackstone Electric Railway, was awarded ten dollars in gold after locating a shoe box containing 2200 in real money at the Uxbridge carbarns. The owner, remaining anonymous, left the box behind after a hurried trip from the bank.
Reports indicate Count Tolstoi, missing for several days, may have taken refuge in the Sohomardinsky women's monastery in Kaluga province. Inquiries continue across Moscow and St Petersburg as efforts to locate him persist.

The narrator confronted the Count in the library and knocked him down as he began to defend himself.
A morning blaze in Berlin New Hampshire destroyed the Albert Theatre valued at about 100000 with fittings. The cause is undetermined. The theatre sits on the former opera house site that burned three years ago this month and the new building opened last February.
A frisky South American monkey disrupted a bird store on Portland Street last night drawing hundreds of spectators. The creature fed on goldfish then dog biscuits, triggering chaos as parrots screeched and dogs howled until Patrolman James Lewis intervened and the owner William Wyan captured the rogue animal.
The mutilated body of Marie Smith, 10, missing since Wednesday, was found at dusk in a clump of bushes near her Asbury Park home. Thomas Williams known as Black Diamond a woodcutter employed by the child's aunt was arrested charged with her murder. He was found in his room where he had stayed since Thursday. Chance discovery uncovered the body with leaves masking her dress and hair, making it nearly indistinguishable.
In Great Barrington three masked robbers stopped Paymaster R J Hine with shotguns during a Paymaster caravan on the Egremont street railway project. They seized $15000 in cash and checks, forced guards to surrender, and fled in a limousine toward the New York State highway, heading into the swamp.
A 300 man posse scoured 26 square miles in a Berkshire hills search for three robbers who vanished after a store hold up. Traces of a heavy auto led to Ashley Falls and nearby towns, but fresh snow erased clues and the getaway machine blended with arriving guards.
