Cost of L Strike Estimated by Boston Elevated Auditor

The Boston Elevated Railway's auditor J Henry Neal testified on strike costs during arbitration with the union. CAR MEN FAVORED BY BOARD IN STREET RAILWAY CONTROVERSY

An arbitration panel settled a dispute between Springfield and Worcester street railway unions, largely favoring the men. The three year agreement runs from June 1, 1912, with 60 percent of runs at nine hours in eleven and 40 percent at nine and a half hours in twelve.
