Five children rescued from mysterious Chelsea fire

Fire of mysterious origin swept a three flat house at 71 Marlborough street Chelsea. The blaze started on the middle floor and spread to the third floor roof and down to the cellar. Five children were rescued with difficulty. Damage totaled 5200 dollars.

Guardian admits neglect in estate notes as Long Island home sold

William F. Jardine guardian of Dorothy Gordon testified before Master Gilbert A. Pevey in Suffolk Superior Court that he failed to collect interest on four thousand dollars in notes payable to the estate.
