New Ward Boundaries Alter Boston Districts and Boundaries

The committee on division of wards completed its report detailing changes to Boston wards. Harvard College Hare and Hounds Schedule and Trials

Harvard College announces two more short hare and hounds runs within the next two weeks and a longer ten to twelve mile run on Saturday November 21. Freshman crew candidates, led by Captain Keyes, train daily in the gym and take long country walks several times weekly. Wendell Baker, age 86, plans another trial to lower the intercollegiate half mile record if weather cooperates, after an earlier attempt failed in cold and windy conditions at the last athletic meeting.

Lectures on Revolution and Civil War at Tremont Temple

John Fiske, famed lecturer, opens thirteen Revolution talks at Tremont Temple tomorrow at 9 o clock, with sessions every Tuesday and Friday through December 22. Subjects include Independence Declared and The French Alliance, tickets available at the box office. He also will present four Civil War lectures with stereopticon views on Grant’s career, five evenings from November 20 to December 8, priced as $150 for the course and 50 cents per lecture.

Burglary at Adams Street Home in Lower Mills

Last evening at the Adams street residence of Mr and Mrs W H Puffer an unknown man alarmed Mrs Puffer by entering the kitchen with a lamp. He fled through an open window after dropping the lamp. no valuables were taken. Lieutenant Emerson was notified.

Brighton cars to Boston via East Cambridge to be discontinued

The Cambridge railroad lines after tomorrow will stop running to Boston through East Cambridge. The Cambridge Lacrosse Club held an entertainment last week to raise funds for a playing field. A vacant Brookline street lot has been chosen. A hospital aid fair will open Tuesday at Union Hall. A woodpile at Coleman and Son’s coal wharf toppled onto a nearby house injuring several people including George Launcet, William O’Brien, Robert Cunningham, and Robert Archibald. Mrs Launcet suffered a severe shock.

Man Held After Evening Train Incident at West Lynn

Awan alighted from the 11:40 p m train at West Lynn on Saturday and walked into the duck, was pulled out by Watchman Lyman Chase, and taken to City Hall.
