A public meeting under the auspices of the Boston Young Men's Republican Club will be held at Tremont Temple on Friday November Ist at 8 o clock P M to support Republican principles and candidates.

The German warship Kaiser with Emperor William on board departed the Pirzeus at 1:30 PM. British Italian and German squadrons fired salutes as the Kaiser's vessel led the escort out of the harbor. Royal personages from Greece Denmark and Britain joined on the British warship Surprise for a fourteen mile procession.
Lord Randolph Churchill in a letter urges the Conservatives to push land law reform workmen’s dwellings licensing and labor hour reductions in the coming Parliament session. He says these questions are rapidly ripening for practical legislation.
Michael Davitt told the Parnell Commission that Farragher failed to prove the Times claim the Land League funded crimes. He lamented missing league books yet said National League records were unconstitutional. He denounced the Times facsimile letters as moral assassination and asked the court to find no charge proven. Justice Hannen complimented Davitt. Sir Henry James then spoke for the Times.
