TWO BURGLARS BAGGED IN MAINE CAPTURE

Accesta Maine October 31 Detective True brought two noted burglars to grief on Saturday. Charles Berry and Thomas O'Brien alias English Shorty were arrested after plans to rob again. Rio Disaster Witness Rules Hankey Responsible

Milwaukee October 31 C H Wells a freight brakeman in Rio disaster says conductor Hankey is fully responsible for the wreck. He describes switching actions at East Rig siding and notes the limited train’s lateness and a fatal collision as debris burned remains of three men found in the woods. Services were held for victims at Portage with many relatives present. Remains of two Catholic sisters were sent to Winona Minnesota for burial and the inquest resumes tomorrow.
