Raymond von Limburg of South Boston fell from Thompson's Island near Hull Gut. Two Brockton men disappeared in Hull Gut. Three unidentified men believed dead near Apple Island. Edward L. McDonald of East Cambridge fell from West Boston bridge into the Charles River. Edward Potvin and Frank Savoir disappeared in the Winooski River at Burlington Vermont.
Five men from the yacht Lillian A. perished or are missing after incidents in Quincy Bay and Hull Gut. Captain Henry Hendrickson of Whisper was rescued. Drowned include Raymond von Limburg of South Boston two unidentified Brockton men off Hull Gut and Edward L. McDonald of East Cambridge. Potvin and Savoir of Winooski were drowned after an upturned boat appeared on the Winooski River banks.

In Pittsfield on May 30, New York detectives recovered James Burnett, allegedly kidnapped from South Brooklyn last week, after a pistol battle with the suspect who used the name Burt Holden. The man, followed from Poughkeepsie by six NYPD detectives, fled toward the estate of Harry Payne Whitney on October Mountain.
Detectives arrived by automobile and began pursuit after Holden left his horse and carriage at C. G. Leslie's home to take a fishing trip up the mountain with his sleeping young son. Continued on Page 12-Second Column.
Mrs. Elizabeth Burroughs of Somerville was pushed from a platform at Boylston street station during rush hour. Her body became trapped between a trolley fender and the platform. spectators freed her and she was taken to Relief Hospital with a dislocated neck and other injuries.
Grand Army posts in Greater Boston will lay wreaths on graves today assisted by Spanish war veterans, Sons and Daughters of Veterans, Women’s Relief Corps, and other groups. Ceremonies honor Revolutionary heroes and national figures with wreaths and tokens at local cemeteries.
Berlin May 30 Count Zeppelin guided the Zeppelin II from Friedrichshafen to Bitterfeld covering more than 456 miles without landing. The nearly 22 hour flight set new records for dirigible balloons and he remained aloft on the return trip to Friedrichshafen.
Philadelphia May 30 Firemen received riot sticks and joined officers patrolling streets to support police during the street car workers strike. All sworn forces on duty since yesterday. few arrests with breach of peace as the top charge. those arrested in heavy bail.

Officials noted Sunday schedules are lighter and more cars ran than yesterday, while strikers claim rapid gains in recruits and warn of a total system shutdown tomorrow. Traction crews in West Philadelphia suffer service cuts as night operations drop to avoid violence. National organizer C. O. Pratt tours neighborhoods seeking more defections to the strike.
Clarence H. Greenleaf fired four shots at a crowded Brockton street car crowd at 9 20 pm injuring motorman William A Amero and passerby Jennie Swabisky in the thigh. Police captured him before a fifth shot. Victims taken to Brockton Relief Hospital.
A gunman identified as Greanleaf fired four shots from a curb as a car passed. Motorman Amero and two passengers were seriously wounded with shots to the leg and heel while a 19 year old girl, Jennie Swahisky, was struck in the street. Former Marshal Boyden and Officer Brown grabbed the shooter and rushed him to the police station as crowds gathered. The assailant and victims’ ages and addresses are given, with notes on disputed happiness and prior disputes between Amero and Greenleaf.
