Lively games expected as Foston prepares to face Cincinnati at So End Grounds. Brooklyn and Philadelphia posted yesterday's victories while Pirates shut out Gotham in a dominant performance.
The Boston team arrives in the city to day and faces Cincinnati tomorrow afternoon at the South End grounds. The four game series opens with a neck and neck matchup as Boston aims to regain ground lost last week while Cincinnati seeks to stay ahead. Yesterday’s Cincinnati game was halted by a fire that destroyed the park grand stand.
