Feeble mentally to undress a contested will in Suffolk court
The Suffolk Superior Court opened a probate contest over the will of Charles S. Caswell, a Copley Square Hotel clerk, with about 30,000 involved. The contestant alleges Caswell was not of sound mind when he made the will a few weeks before his death, and that it was tainted by undue influence from his brother in law William F. Cole or physician Harriet H. Cobb. Caswell suffered Bright's disease, arteriosclerosis, and mental impairment, having been treated at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and City Hospital before returning home.
