Electric cars planned to reach Boston fish pier soon

W J O'Brien president of the Boston Fish Market Corp and John N Cole chair of the Boston Industrial Advancement Commission discussed moving electric street cars to the fish pier within months. A meeting at the fish exchange aims to set up talks between Governor Walsh and Mayor Curley to settle differences delaying the Boston Elevated. About 1000 to 1200 people daily use the Driscoll's Landing ferry to Commonwealth piers and many walk via Summer Street and Northern Avenue bridges, with ferry users preferring the water route and indifferent to street car plans.
