Yale Varsity Oarsmen Ready for Harvard Regatta
Haven May 26 With George Corderry head coach of what is believed to be a crew developed to win the world's championship at the Henley regatta in 1912 Yale varsity oarsmen began final training for the Harvard race. They will be divided into two octets Monday. Jim Corderry has led Yale coaching since Guy Nickalls was deposed last season and now heads the freshman squad. Yale shells are rigged American fashion with seats aligned. The Navy has yet to finalize oars or shells. A quiet revolution in Yale rowing moved forward without friction and the university supports Jim Corderry as youthful authority.
