Weekly Review and Outlook on Market Decline

The week saw prices fall further than in last March with slight recovery. Outflows of new securities and bad crop news kept the mood bearish while major issues like Rock Island and the Cleveland Cincinnati Chicago and St Louis fueled supply. New York Central reportedly halts new offerings perhaps until fall. A lean period may help, but fear of a monetary breakdown persists as bears stay optimistic and public money remains aloof. Total sales of local issues with comparative prices follow.
