Dirty Boston Streets Show Urgent Cleaning Need
A Post reporter observes three city street sweeping gangs in Boston failing to keep main thoroughfares clean. Dusty dry weather, uneven streets, and machine carts lag behind, leaving paper, glass, and waste in Washington Tremont and surrounding blocks. Physicians urge city-funded, universal cleaning to curb disease risk.
