The 76th division receives about 3,000 transfers from the Depot Brigade, including 1,500 recruits for Boston’s Own 30st Infantry, drawn from Massachusetts and nearby states. Fifty-five officers shift from camp to Camp Jackson, mostly from artillery regiments.
