Patrick Doran a South Boston fisherman and former Bay State hospital ship seaman aged 87 was murdered in Pensacola Florida yesterday. A telegram to his sister Mrs Annie Clery stated he was shot on Pensacola streets by unknown assailants and may have had trouble with a local gang. Doran left home in 1903 and recently worked as a bartender in Pensacola.
