Annual Prize Drill at Chauncy Hall School Battalion
The Chauncy Hall School battalion held its annual prize drill at Mechanics Building on Tuesday afternoon with a large attendance. Lt. J. S. Pratt led the smaller pony company from the lower ranks, followed by Maj. F. H. Briggs commanding a 150 strong battalion in an impressive drill and a competitive arms exercise. Prizes went to Company C for best drilled, Sgt. A. L. Cushing won gold for best drilled boy, with Corporals Owes Fisher and E. Burage taking silver medals. Brig. Gen. Hobart Moore and Maj. Mathews judged the event, then dancing concluded the program.
