Tornado Hits Fort Worth Texas Kills Dispatcher
A tornado Wind 70 mph struck Fort Worth at 6 30 PM causing part of the west wall of the Texas and Pacific passenger station to collapse and killing train dispatcher John Young. The storm toppled wires west of the city, partly wrecked Mineral Wells, and razed a church of the African Methodist congregation. Several buildings lost their roofs including the seven story First National Bank building.
