Funeral for Charles V. Dasey Planned Next Friday

The funeral of the late Charles V. Dasey who died suddenly at 17 Ocean Street Ashmont will be held Friday morning at St Mark's Church Rossland Street Ashmont. Dasey born in Boston pursued steamship agency work since 1879 and was active in Catholic charitable groups including St Vincent de Paul and the Knights of Columbus.

Minister Impostor Claims Wife Belief In Boston Bride Tale

Miss Bessie Harrington Moore of New Bedford testified in a Brooklyn divorce case that she lived with Samuel Burt Adler under the mistaken belief he was her husband after a Providence ceremony on January 30, 1906. Adler’s lawful wife Hazel J. Adler of Wilmington, Del., had sued for divorce in 1908 and separated three years later.
