Tests for Cutter Service Cadets in Boston
A competitive examination for cadets in the United States revenue cutter service will be held in Boston next month. Eligible candidates must be United States citizens, unmarried, within the age limits, and able to show good moral character. Cadet of the line requires 18 to 24 years, engineer cadet 20 to 25, and all candidates must pass a strict physical exam by a public health service board.

Fire car hits auto injuring five people
A fire department vehicle collided with a car, injuring five occupants. The crash caused the auto to tip and slide onto an embankment, with bystanders describing a carromed path along the sidewalk.
Rothwell Family Injured In Severe Auto Collision
Mr. Rothwell and his wife suffered serious injuries after a protective auto crash with their limousine on a Roxbury to Brighton route. Three drivers from the protection crew were unconscious and taken to City Hospital. Mr. Rothwell, a New England Conservatory trustee, is most gravely hurt. Edmund Rothwell and chauffeur were shaken but survived. emergency crews and doctors rushed to treat the injured at home and hospital.
