Janvrin accused of merry antics and improper dancing near Mrs Burns

Witnesses describe Janvrin as a jolly man who danced with women and kissed them during dances at the Burns farm. They say he chased Mrs Burns to the kitchen, gave gifts and money, and treated all women with similar attention, while Burns and wife allege he crossed lines. The defense argues he was generally sociable, not targeting Mrs Burns. The jury trial resumes Monday with Janvrin’s presence at the bar.
