Youth Burglar Collapses After Capture Near Post Office

A 17 year old burglar attempted escape from a Milk and Federal streets store last evening near Post Office square. Officer Norcross and the postoffice watchman pursued him, catching the youth who then collapsed. Doctors worked two hours to revive him before removal to the station.

Chief Mullen narrowly escaped bricks fired at auto

Higgins of Standish Maine delirious with internal injuries and W L Gardner of Enosburg Falls Vermont with a broken collarbone. Mystery in East Boston Harbor Death Baffles Police

Police believe the body of a man aged 30 to 40 was found near Hall's lumber wharf in East Boston. An autopsy showed skull fracture lethal to death. The body had been in water months and wore a black frock coat gray stockings and lace shoes. Two brass checks reading W. N. P & 8 No. 1206 were found in a pocket aiding the investigation.
