She was taken to City Hospital with minor bruises and a wrist injury that may end in loss of the hand. the motorman is blamed by no witness. Narrow street bicycle crash on Warren and Monument
At 8 last night on Warren street and Monument street Charlestown, a bicycle group descending a steep hill was split by a Roxbury and Charlestown streetcar. Lucius Swindquist was struck, thrown under the car, and taken to 82 Warren Street with a severely injured arm but no broken bones. He lives on Sprague Street and was attended by Dr Duff after pickup by Patrolman Metcalf.

A man claiming to be George C. Davis a 60 year old Boston constable was locked up in New York police after attempting to choke a woman from a wealthy Boston family at the Lexington Hotel. The woman Mrs Jane Dempsey of 559 East Fifth Street South Boston identified them as companions who had come to the city a week ago. Davis denied the accusation and was held for disorderly conduct while the woman declined to name herself at first and then did. The hotel denied the couple had been there.

Mrs. Davis revealed in East Boston that her husband John C. Davis has been arrested in New York with Mrs. Dempsey. Davis, a longtime Falcon street resident and constable at 27 School street, was known in local business and secret society circles.
