Burrao May 16 A plan to unite American photographers and copying houses into a single association gains momentum led by Bogardus New York. The group claims 40 000 members with a 2 entrance fee and 50 cents monthly dues. It reports about 100 000 in treasury and sets a graded price scale. The scheme may crush non members by brief price undercutting and reimburse members the gap between their earnings and the standard price.
The twenty third annual meeting of the National Board of Fire Underwriters was held in the Mutual Life building New York. Officers elected include President D A Heald Vice President W Skilton and Treasurer J Parish. The group discussed Texas and other Western state insurance legislation and referred contentious matters to a special committee.
