Brother and Sister Burned by Fire at East Boston Home
Robert Ritchie four and his sister BWsther six narrowly escaped death yesterday afternoon at 188 Lexington street East Boston. Playing with matches the girl’s clothes caught fire and in moments she was enveloped in flames. The boy’s clothes then ignited and Mrs. Ritchie, the mother, used a blanket to extinguish the flames burning her hands. The girl’s clothes were burned away and both children were taken to the Ra Nef station where the girl was placed on the dangerous list.
