Archie McEachern Dies Racing At Atlantic City Track
Archie McEachern the Toronto and Boston champion cyclist was killed at the Coliseum track in Atlantic City while attempting a new mile record behind a motor tandem. A broken chain caused a sudden deceleration forcing McEachern into the damaged tandem. his neck was severed and he died shortly after reaching the hospital. Boake Thompson survived uninjured.

Pittsburg Penn May 13 The Sher aden horror dominated today with estimates of at least 30 seriously hurt and 23 dead among the injured. Hospitals report many in critical condition as fires and explosions ravaged Sheraden tolling property losses likely over 100000 at Corks Run tunnel and destroying houses. Affected schools saw 200 of 700 pupils present while 100 of 500 absent may be injured. Children have started a relief fund for affected peers.
