Imperial Limited Train Held Up In Kamloops Run

The Imperial Limited on the Canadian Pacific main line near Kamloops was stopped early today. Robbers forced the engineer to move the mail car a mile away and looted registered letters. Two Women Escaped Fatal Burns In City Incidents

A 20 year old East Boston woman, Jennie Sarney of 10 Webster Avenue, was severely burned when flames from a kitchen stove enveloped her as her clothing caught fire while lifting the stove lid. Nearby Dr Henry Mason aided, and she was sent to the Relief Hospital in serious condition after initial treatment.

Woman Burned In Cambridge House Fire Save By Student

Mrs. Mary P. C. Billings wife of Colonel John D. Billings master of Webster Grammar School Cambridge was badly burned at her home last evening. Harvard student Louis Simonds rooming in the house saved her by wrapping a blanket around her and extinguishing the flames after a candle set her dress alight. Damages to the house were slight.
