Mrs Samuel G Babcock wife of Suffragan Bishop Babcock of the Episcopal diocese of Massachusetts is critically ill at Phillips House Massachusetts General Hospital after an apopleptic shock suffered Saturday. She was found unconscious at the head of a staircase at 62 Chestnut Street by the bishop. After a slight Sunday improvement she remained in serious condition yesterday.

Poor Box Thief Arrested at Eulalia's Church

Lawrence Boucher of 24 Chandler street was arrested after a man and woman alerted Patrolman Keegan at St Eulalia's Church South Boston. Police found two long wires in his hat and he wore thieving tools. He had a prior similar conviction in 1913.

Eagle Tries to Steal Bulldog in Goffstown

Mrs. Herbert Ainsworth in Goffstown New Hampshire reported an eagle attempting to carry off her bulldog on the veranda. The dog fought back and the eagle fled in fright, likely a bird from nearby Uncanoonue Mountain, a high southern peak.

Motorcyclist Injured by Street Car in Chelsea

Albert Clark, 32, of 147 Clark Avenue Chelsea, was knocked from his motorcycle by a Dudley street car of the Boston Elevated on Massachusetts Avenue. He was taken to City Hospital in the Back Bay police station ambulance and kept there for treatment.
